About these checks
Every five minutes, OriginStat checks each part of itself from inside its own infrastructure on Cloudflare: the database and cache behind the website and dashboard, the counter behind event collection, the analytics store behind reports, our email provider, and whether last night's history job finished. Two failed checks in a row, ten minutes, marks a part as down, and it is marked operational again at the first check that passes.
These checks cannot see the internet's side of things. If this page does not load at all, that is the outage; Cloudflare's status page covers the platform we run on. Machines can read the same data at /status.json.
